Here’s a chance to smile with an inspiring story about how one student’s hard work, dedication, and resilience led to “record-setting” college admissions success. Amari Shepherd, a senior at KIPP New Orleans’s Frederick A. Douglass High School, received $9 Million in College Scholarships and was accepted at 162 colleges.

Amari not only excelled academically with a stellar GPA of 4.86, but also earned an associate degree from Bard Early College, held leadership roles on the New Orleans mayor’s and superintendent’s youth advisory councils, and published her book, “Thirteen.”
This fall, she will become a freshman at Spelman College –her first choice.
At Bespoke Education, we are honored to partner with leading charter schools nationwide by providing educational and test programs that foster both academic excellence and personal growth. Learn more about our school partnerships here.
Congrats to Amari, and to all students who will soon take the next step in their educational journeys beyond high school.
